The possibilities are endless when it comes to adding some glitz and glamour to your website. Kathleen offers special features that include both visitor and staff interactivity.
Websites can be interactive mediums as well as one-way information-giving sites. Your website may benefit from a shopping cart, a journal or blog, or online registrations. Some of these you or your staff can take care of yourself. Just ask.

Town of BowdenIt was in the spring of 2004 when the Town of Bowden decided it was time for an online presence for their residents and visitors. It's a little funny to think that just those few short years ago, not every municipal government had a web presence. Bowden has made maintenance a priority and so the site is updated on a regular basis. Residents can read Council meeting agendas and minutes in a timely fashion, newsletters are posted promptly, videos have been added, and other pages are given appropriate consideration as well. The Town's Business Directory is an interactive management system handled by Town staff, so as soon as a business has a license, it goes up on the site so everyone can see; a great promotional bonus for new businesses. New in 2014 was the addition of an online system for managing the Town's cemetery. It is a robust program Town staff and cemetery volunteers can manage, one that will serve the community for many years. Bowden's website tells visitors pretty much everything they need to know about the town; events, facilities, bylaws. While it provides the basic information for residents, we are looking at a more robust website in the near future.

Most people hate automatic pop-ups. However, a click-on pop-up is fine because you're giving your website visitor a choice. Click on this to see an enlargement ... or don't. It's entirely up to them, and that's what they like: control.

What I'm Working On
While I work on new websites pretty much every month, the bulk of my work is in the almost daily maintenance of websites for current clients, and managing their Social Media programs. We have recently finished a new website for the Olds Curling Club, and have redesigns for Darkside Electric and Transfeeder on the horizon. Bill has set up a Silent Auction program for the Stop Abuse in Families Society, and he and Joel continue to manage our Music Festival Suite program, now being used for 38 music festivals from British Columbia to Newfoundland. We are proud to be celebrating 24 years in business this year.
