The possibilities are endless when it comes to adding some glitz and glamour to your website. Kathleen offers special features that include both visitor and staff interactivity.
Websites can be interactive mediums as well as one-way information-giving sites. Your website may benefit from a shopping cart, a journal or blog, or online registrations. Some of these you or your staff can take care of yourself. Just ask.

Mountain View Arts FestivalIn the spring of 2011, I took on a personal venture, one that would return me to my roots of arts and culture. That soon spread to a very engaged group of volunteers, to what would become the Mountain View Arts Festival in Didsbury, Alberta. The website features an interactive online form for artists and performers to apply, a secure ticket sales feature for a percussion concert held during the festival, and an intranet where volunteers could keep track of each other's progress. Of course, twitter and facebook feeds were part of the process and helped the committee connect with other Alberta Arts Days communities and arts and culture organizations around the world. What a fabulous showcase of Didsbury and a great personal development opportunity for me.

If you have a small company, like a plumber or an electrician, and most of your business is done locally, do you really need a website? The answer is "yes". You just don't need all the glitz and glamour. People don't go to the FedEx website to be entertained any more than they go to a FedEx office to be entertained.

What I'm Working On
While I work on new websites pretty much every month, the bulk of my work is in the almost daily maintenance of websites for current clients. That, and redesigning their outdated sites with new, which is what we have just finished for the Canadian Gelbvieh Association. I have recently finished a new website for Red Deer Presbytery, and am working on new sites for Top Note Line Locating, and SE Rural Crime Watch. Bill continues to add new features to our Music Festival Suite program, now being used to manage music festivals in Airdrie, Leduc, Sherwood Park, High River, Coronation, and Peace River. We are very proud to be celebrating 21 years in business this year!
